In Magnificent Movement, I wanted to create a really potent joyful experience for children... and a revitalizing one for teachers... One that would be natural and organically aligned with the way children physically develop — to set a foundation that connected joy to moving in the human body.
We all live in that body for a lifetime. It is SO powerful to be truly connected and present and happy in your own body, your own skin!
So... the emphasis with Magnificent Movement is not on costumes, or make-up, or competitions, or even complex precision routines —but on childlike MOVEMENT— on building strength, balance, coordination, rhythm, knowledge of the human body.
Those skills apply to any sport or any type of dance. It's a foundation for life.
